The Target Group

The need for trained professionals in the US is enormous.  The potential target audience is high schoolers who slip into unemployment each year with no prospect of college or higher-quality jobs. Unemployment among 20-24 year olds is 15.4%, and among 15-20 year olds it is still 7.3%. In general, the unemployment rate is 5.4% (as of 9/2021). That’s 17.7 million U.S. citizens who are currently unemployed.

What is the motivation behind the project, Mr. Thoenissen?

“My motivation for this project finds its origin in my own education. I am a great advocate for extensive education and training. During my apprenticeship, I learned more in vocational school than in the training company. This has led me to continue learning and to constantly develop. In my life, there have been many different professional stations that have led me again and again in different directions and job profiles. From a technical profession I went into logistics with all facets, I learned everything that happens in front of and behind the loading ramp.”
